Professor Alan Cheng is currently the Head of Paediatric Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. At the University of Sydney, he is the clinical professor in the discipline of Child and Adolescent Health. He is a past president for the Australian New Zealand Society of Paediatric Otolaryngology, and a member of the council for the Asia Pacific Pediatric Otolaryngology Group for the last 10 years. He is currently the Adhoc chairperson for the Pediatric section of IFOS since 2015. He is an invited speaker /instructor at many airway courses throughout Asia. He has published in over 60 peer reviewed publications, and the main subjects of interests have been laryngotracheal stenosis, glottic webs, Pierre Robin Sequence,
