Robyn Shakes is the Managing Director for MED-EL Implant Systems Australasia where she is supported by a team of audiologists, clinical engineers and rehabilitation experts. With over 30 years’ experience in the field of audiology Robyn holds qualifications in audiology, deaf education and auditory verbal therapy. She has worked in the government, not for profit, university, education  and manufacturing sectors across her career. Her areas of special interest are hearing implants and auditory speech and language development in hearing impaired children
